CROSS COUNTRY: LEAGUE, CIF & STATE CHAMPIONS : 2007 MISSION LEAGUE CHAMPIONS (10th Straight) 2007 CIF SOUTHERN SECTION CHAMPIONS 2007 CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONS! On Saturday, November 17, 2007, the Cubs captured the 2007 C.I.F. Cross Country Championship with James Kostelnik, Elias Gedyon, Andres Diaz, James Slater, Anthony Milin, Pablo Ruiz, and JonCarlo Topete leading the way. The Cubs became the fastest team in C.I.F. Division II history by running a Team-Time of 77:30 and the 6th fastest team coming from any Division in C.I.F. Championship history. Then, on Saturday, November 24, Loyola captured the 2007 Cross Country California State Championship held at Woodward Park in Fresno. The Cubs dominated the state meet as a team, earning 72 points with Elias Gedyon FR, Andres Diaz JR, James Kostelnik SR, James Slater JR, Anthony Milin SR, JonCarlo Topete SR, and Pablo Ruiz JR leading the way.
